Blood Corpuscles (Formed Elements):

Red Blood Cells (RBCs): Biconcave cells without a nucleus. They contain hemoglobin and transport oxygen to tissues and organs.

White Blood Cells (WBCs): Colorless cells that play a crucial role in immunity and defense mechanisms.

Granulocytes: Leukocytes with granules in their cytoplasm.

Eosinophils: Combat infections in parasites and are involved in allergy and asthma responses.

Basophils: Release histamine and play a role in inflammation and bronchoconstriction.

Agranulocytes: Leukocytes without granules.

Lymphocytes: Key players in adaptive immunity.

Monocytes: Engage in phagocytosis and immune response.

Platelets (Thrombocytes): Fragments involved in blood clotting.
